Beeswax wraps

We need to stop buying cling film. It’s not recyclable, it’s single use, it’s just terrible stuff!

One replacement you can use is beeswax wraps. They are the perfect solution to ditching the cling film. You can wrap or cover anything apart from raw meat or fish so perfect for sandwiches in lunchboxes, covering or wrapping leftover food in the fridge. Basically anything you currently use cling film for. You just use the warmth of your hands to seal. They last up to about 18 months and when they have come to the end of their life they are 100% compostable.

We are lucky to have a local maker of beeswax wraps. You can either order direct through Lane or The Refill Station and Little Green Refills both stock Lane’s wraps.
